Cheryl Rickert
“Public education is the backbone of every community. I am running for School Board to ensure Council Rock schools continue to deliver academic excellence, support every student, and spend our property tax dollars wisely.”
Cheryl Rickert is a proud Council Rock mom, active school volunteer, and experienced business professional running for School Board in Region 8. With two children currently in elementary school, Cheryl brings a personal stake in the future of our district—and a strong belief that public schools should reflect the best of our community.
A resident of Upper Makefield for over 11 years, Cheryl has been deeply involved in school and community life, serving as a homeroom parent and supporting local sports programs. She knows how important it is for families to feel seen, heard, and supported.
Cheryl holds an MBA and brings extensive experience in business and marketing, including working with large and global organizations. She’s a collaborative problem-solver who listens first, builds consensus, and leads with integrity. Cheryl believes that school board members should be advocates—not politicians. She’s committed to making research-informed decisions, supporting strong public education, and ensuring that every child has access to the excellent academic and extracurricular opportunities Council Rock is known for.
Above all, Cheryl is here to listen, learn, and put students first. She’s ready to serve with a steady hand and an open mind.
