Nicole Khan

“As a current school board director, former teacher, parent, and active PTO member, I bring experience and an educator’s perspective to our school’s decision-making. We’ve made progress, but there’s more to do. I ask for your vote to keep our schools moving forward.”

Nicole Khan is an experienced educator, active parent, and dedicated School Board Director proudly running for reelection in Region 9. Since joining the board two years ago, Nicole has helped move Council Rock forward with a steady focus on students, families, and responsible governance.

A former teacher and current Council Rock parent, Nicole brings an educator’s perspective to every decision. She currently chairs the Education Committee and regularly attends school events, parent forums, and committee meetings to stay connected to the community she represents. She previously co-chaired the Facilities Committee, helping guide important infrastructure planning for the district.

During her time on the board, Nicole has helped deliver real results, including:

  • Passing full-day kindergarten beginning in fall 2025—a foundation for long-term academic success.

  • Reinstating the Safe Touch program, which teaches age-appropriate body safety to second graders.

  • Leading the effort to designate Council Rock as a Heart Safe School District, equipping schools with life-saving tools and emergency preparedness.

  • Ensuring special education receives ongoing attention and resources.

  • Advocating for strong fiscal stewardship—helping keep Council Rock’s tax increases among the lowest in the region.

Nicole believes public education is essential to student opportunity and community strength. She’s committed to making decisions based on facts, listening to families, and keeping the focus on what matters most: helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.
